The classic Rivalry game.
This game started out in SGF favor, score two quick goals. Then The Wolfpack struck with a well played cross and header from Alex Dickinson.
We then had a nice through ball that Mike Basford poked in the corner of the net. SGF then score their third goal. But the Pack wasn't done yet!
Ben Marshall, made the best of his chances on goal and ripped a zero angle shot over the goalies shoulder for his first goal of the season.
Way to go Ben!
This game seemed to be heading for another tie, but a missed played ball from one of our defenders caused a hand ball in the box and SGF scored a penilty kick to win this close game.
I give the team a lot of credit for playing hard and never giving up.
We were with out a few good players. I had other players pick up team leader roles and play very well.
