Thursday's game:
I'm sorry everyone for arriving late to Thursdays game. My GPS brought me to the Mayfield High School instead of the elementary school. This late start was a game blessing because Mayfield's home field advantage only work for a portion of the first half.
We lost the captain's coin flip and Mayfield chose the goal to defend instead of Ball.
Our Goalie patrick Resse had the sun in his eye for only a few minutes. Field conditions were fair, with turf issues, a shorter than normal field with u-12 size goals (7'X21') instead of the offical (8'-24'). If we played with full size goal those three hits on the post would have been goals.
We were missing a few player and played with only three subs.
I really didn't like the style of play we were playing, long kick balls but with the field conditions i feel we were forced into it.
Thanks to all the parents that travel to Mayfield on a week night to the game.
The rest of our game schedule will only be short traveling on week nights.
