A wet and wild Sunday game it was!
This game was interesting from the start, The U-17 Girls team started late with our game offical, The Ballston Spa Coach forgot his player pass for the game, and The rain was suppose to be limited, according to the Weather channel. I would like to thank Paul Edwards for stepping in and officating this game. The team started again slow and the defense gave up a early goal. BS scored another goal before the half. Paul thought his job was over until our offical refused to officate our game because of the BS coach not having his player pass card. I then recruited Paul again to finish this game. ADA came out in the second half cold and wet but started playing with a little more urgency. Mike Basford knocked home our first goal. After that we started to be more agressive. We had several close chance, but were denied. Mike then finished our attach with the tying goal.
BS had some chances in the second half but Thomas and our defense shut the door. We had some thrilling chance at the end to win.
We will be ready for this team again in the future. The team really need to practice finishing shots at our next practice.
Parent thanks again for weathering todays game.
